Innovative Vacation Club, Hotel & Resort Conference reveals their Miami Experience Pre-Conference Day for upcoming networking event.
The Global Networking Experience, commonly known as GNEX Conference is synonymous with attracting senior-level executives to different stunning locations each year, creating unique networking environments, pushing the envelope with interactive general sessions and delivering spectacular social events. GNEX 2018 will be held 26 – 28 February 2018, Miami, FL, on the world’s first mega-yacht venue, the $40 million, 228ft SeaFair Grand Luxe that recently completed a further $10 million renovation to provide a truly unique event venue that boasts more than 22,000 square feet of meeting space.
In addition to spectacular social events onboard the mega-yacht, and “The EPIC Party”, which will be held on the soaring 16th-floor pool terrace at the trendy waterfront Kimpton EPIC for a party under the stars, event organizers have also arranged some fun pre-conference activities.
GNEX 2018 offers three pre-event activities on 26th February that will give all that participate three very different Miami Experiences.
MIAMI DOUBLE DECKER BUS TOUR
Starting mid-morning a private double decker bus will take attendees to a selection of the best Miami suburbs, including Coral Gables and famous Coconut Grove, plus the vibrant Little Havana where everyone can enjoy Cuban coffee and take in the sights. This is a leisurely way to see different parts of Miami that are very different to the downtown and South Beach areas, while benefitting from relaxed networking with others on the tour.
THRILLER MIAMI SPEEDBOAT ADVENTURE
After some free time at Bayside Marketplace for lunch and shopping, it will be time to pick up the pace as attendees board two private 55ft Power Catamarans that will race around the Port of Miami and along South Beach as well as visiting “Millionaires Row” at Star Island, where the few dozen homes range from $8 million to more than $60 million and largely filled with well known celebrities. The powerboats will also cruise the calm waters of Biscayne Bay as it returns to Bayside Marketplace.
THE GATHERING @ SOUTH BEACH
Finally, attendees have the option to join an “unofficial” gathering in South Beach to start their free night off in one or several of Miami’s hottest cocktail bars, before peeling off in their own groups for dinner and a night on the town.
“GNEX Conferences are renowned for their networking potential, and our varied activity days provide an early opportunity for new friendships and business relationships to be formed.” Says Paul Mattimoe, President & CEO, Perspective Group; organizers of GNEX Conference.
GNEX Conferences focus heavily on networking, actively encouraging new business relationships through its planned networking events and personal introductions via event staff. The 2018 event will kick off with a new and innovative session entitled “The 60-Second Pitch”, where a group of pre-determined decision-making resort development executives will listen to quick-fire 60-second product and service pitches from selected attending vendors.
Shortly afterwards is an opportunity to participate in Speed Networking, where each participant will have two-minutes of one-on-one time with approximately 30 other attendees where they can swap business cards and determine if they want to meet later in the event to continue conversations. This event is a fan-favorite and this year is held mid-morning and accompanied by Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s, plus soft drinks and pastries.
GNEX 2018 also offers high-value educational sessions. Industry related “X-TALKS” offer short 10-minute solo speaker sessions covering a variety of topics, while guest speakers from outside the industry provide a different angle or approach on common issues and trends that affect all industries.
Will Blackmon, NFL Player will also make an appearance as a guest speaker, addressing the mostly C-Level audience about “The Art of Resiliency – Setbacks, Obstacles & Tragedy”.
Will Blackmon, currently a free agent, has already played 10 seasons in the NFL, formerly for the Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Rattlers. Earlier in his career, he played college football for the Boston College Eagles, and was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He also won a Super Bowl ring when playing for the New York Giants after defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI.
