The Perspective Magazine Awards, a global recognition program for the timeshare / vacation ownership industry opens nominations for its 8th annual awards program, and introduces a new and exciting category.
Each year, vacation industry companies and individuals vie to win one or more of the 30+ accolades up for grabs that span a wide variety of market segments. Winners are announced in front an audience of senior-level peers at the renowned GNEX Conference, which this coming year will be held onboard a $40 million mega-yacht – the world’s first mage-yacht event venue, and one of America’s largest privately owned yachts, in Miami, Florida, 26-28 February 2018.
Nominations are now open for hotels, resorts, vendors and industry professionals to submit entries at http://www.perspectiveawards.com/enter. Winners are determined by a panel of four judges along with online votes from the public where each judge represents 20 percent of the nominee’s overall score and the public vote accounts for the remaining 20 percent.
A new category introduced for 2018 however, does not follow the standard judging format. Sponsored by INTUITION, a powerful Customer Engagement Solution that is changing the way hotels and resorts communicate with guests and manage online reputation, a new Customer Satisfaction Award has been added to the program.
The Customer Satisfaction Award will be judged solely based on public opinion. Using INTUITION’s powerful business intelligence platform, participating resorts will be graded based on average review ratings from all major online review sites such as TripAdvisor, booking.com, Expedia, Google+, Facebook Reviews, Travelocity, Orbitz, Yelp, hotels.com and more.
Using an algorithm, similar to that used by leading review sites to rank resorts by popularity, the INTUITION software will grade the nominations based on a segment of 2017 reviews posted by vacationers to determine the winner(s).
Participating resorts will also receive a detailed review analysis report courtesy of INTUITION after the awards program closes, that will show areas of success and areas for improvement.
