The months before the holiday season proved to be the most popular months for the website with a massive influx of club owners purchasing digital gift cards or other items on offer.
In October 2020, more than $300,000 worth of items were sold, a 51% increase in sales compared to the same month last year. In November 2020, the website achieved more than $400,000 worth of sales or more than 1,500 transactions, a 50% increase compared to the same month in 2019.
Lifestyle by Wyndham has become more than an e-commerce site that offers deals and discounts to club owners. It has evolved into a platform that further connects owners to their club and improves the customer experience.
The most challenging months of the year – when domestic travel borders were closed and lockdown restrictions continue to limit outside movement, Lifestyle by Wyndham launched Club Wyndham TV – a lifestyle and travel program that provides owners with activities they can experience at home – from fitness exercises and yoga classes to cooking tips and photography lessons. The channel is also providing domestic travel ideas and showcases club resorts and nearby attractions they can visit in the future.
Club Wyndham TV achieved more than 7,700 views across more than 120 videos since its launch in March.
Lifestyle by Wyndham also used the platform to promote Wishes by Wyndham – Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific’s philanthropic program that support children’s charities. A dedicated Wishes by Wyndham donation page was set up for owners who wish to donate after every purchase of an item or service.
With the addition of new content, Lifestyle by Wyndham has achieved a 30% increase in enrolments and a 150% increase in members engaging with the website in the last 12 months.
